Dunno about this - a few friends are doing it and have Facebooked the link. Now, I am all for the idea of a dry January to get rid of some of the Festive excesses, and may well do that anyway, but it seems a bit weird to shout about it for sponsorship. Certainly it's fundraising for a very good cause, CRUK, but seems a bit odd to me.

Thoughts ?

I shall not be having a dry January. It's a rather pointless idea TBH - a dry December would be worth making a fuss over.

Just put some money towards the charity (or another) and carry on as you see fit.

Lots of people do it anyway.

Seems a clever way to raise money IMO, how do you raise money without shouting about it?
