Burnley to the Oakley Outlet just south of York.

And the bloody shop was closed for refurbishment.
I was not the happiest of sausages.

Ah well.

Picked up two pairs of Vans for £30.00, so it could be worse...... 🙂

If that photo resulted from the trip, then I'd say the trip was well worth it!

Just a random picture - good though innit?

I was much, much angrier than that after a 4 hour round trip. 😐

Just to make my day even better, the barber informed me this morning that I am now no longer officially 'thinning'.
It's worse than that.
I have joined the ranks of the tonsorially challenged. 🙁

Still, got 2 pair of shoes and a bag of Cadbury's misshapes, so it's not all bad. 😀

I take it they didn't have the ones you wanted at the Oakley Vault @ Cheshire Oaks?

No idea!
They're both the same distance away - we picked the York one. 😐

Buying a pair online now - much cheaper on fuel.

Cheers Drac! Just saved me £15 on a new pair of ski goggles that I was going to buy tomorrow anyway!

I left a pair of sunglasses in a restaurant once. Getting them back cost me £12000!

We'd been to look at a car which I liked but the ex wasn't keen and as it was the first I had viewed I decided not to be hasty. On the way home, myself and the ex went for a meal but I left my glasses in the restaurant. I realised when I got home and called them and they had put them behind the bar.

They were fairly expensive ones so I agreed I would go back the following day to collect them. And whilst I was down that way I popped in for another look at the car. And drove it home!

The ex was livid 🙂

You live in Burnley - what need have you for sunglasses?

140 miles @ 45p/mile = £63

Just how cheap were they?

We had a great day out in York anyway, so no great loss.
😀

And did I mention the Vans?
Some lovely green and grey Eras for a fiver, plus a pair of suede Chukkas for £25.00?
Bargain.

Ordered some white Radars with the Jade Iridium lens last night for £97.00 including a case.
Very happy with that.

And yes, it's a remarkable likeness isn't it?
