just thinking about many jobs, if a nurse makes a mistake they are suspended as would a police officer, doctor, etc.
If a driver is involved in an accident are licences ever revoked pending investigations? or are they allowed to continue driving until a court makes a decision?

afaik only a court has the authority to revoke a driving licence.
