With an RS6 Avante for daily use. First, though, I'd have to 'persuade' the current owner to part with them... 😉

Oh, and a side-order of one of these for warm, sunny days:

@kiwijohn, of all the cars... You could have the F-bomb, but no, you want the scabrous charger that you could build yourself for 50p. I conclude that you are a wrong 'un.

Right, if we're talking muscle-cars, I did have an obsession with the 69-70 Dodge Charger, but that later turned into a deep-rooted desire, nay need for one of these:

'70 Plymouth Hemi-'Cuda. Considered to be the pinnacle of muscle car development. I think they're just beautifully proportioned.
A full-spec, cherry example, around $2-2.5 million, apparently...

Heh, that was the first episode I saw- there's a gorgeous 260 you sometimes see around Peebles, I pointed it out to a mate and he mentioned a Rotsun as a more likely option on my budget 😆

My very limited experience of Muscle Cars is that they're fantastic in the straight lines and gentle bends that make up a quantity of the US. Ie, utterly inappropriate in the UK.

Ie, I love the idea of a Mustang or a Charger, but in practical terms I'd have to change countries.

(Also, great thread, btw)

Ive always wanted a 1957 Chevy Bel Air in convertible flavour. This one would do nicely.

I always preferred the challenger over the charger.

Cougar, you're absolutely right about the handling of virtually all of the original muscle cars, along with pretty shonky brakes as well. However, the current crop, in particular the Camaro, are a whole other animal, decent suspension and handling, brakes, etc, they can go round twisty bits very rapidly indeed.

.98g on a dusty skid-pan, apparently.
