stumpy - evening! No, bikes are always needing money spent on them. ๐
Cheshire is renowned as the home of rich people with very little taste, typically footballers, DJ's & soap stars.
Apart from the various mounds of cocaine and silicone littering the landscape, it's basically flat.
It provides very little distraction when travelling through it to North Wales, which is probably the best that can be said about the place.
AND you've got Stockport, a place that makes Mytholmroyd seem like Las Vegas. When the best thing about a place is a biscuit factory, you know you're in trouble.
I wouldn't disagree with much of that, but it's still in the North.
And Stockport has a hat museum too ๐
I still don't get the North vs South debate at all. I'm from South Wales. There's no rivalry between North and South Wales at all in my experience, even though culturally we are a bit different and have some North/South variance in the Welsh language. There's no real divide between Welsh speakers and English speakers. We're all Welsh and generally very proud of it.
can't speak proper Cymraeg down south! But that's another argument entirely!
Lufli!

Typical of a Taff to say that regards Gogs.
Don Simon to the thread please
There is no rivalry between North and South England the northerns know its much better up here and the southerners come to visit us and ride our trails. Perfect harmony ๐
