If a politician of ANY party was on fire, I wouldn't even piss on him/her/it.

I wouldn't give ANY politicians a spot if I had the measles.

I wouldn't give ANY politician the time of day.

Donations come with an expectation of a service to be rendered at a later date.

The size of the donation dictates the size of the service to be rendered

Only if it's a union making the donation, we've established that's totally immoral. Hedge funds, fossil fuel pressure groups, and property magnates- that's all fine.
