I'm not complain because he was elected, he'll do what he does, tbh doesn't particularly affect me anyhow, my only real concern is how much influence he will have on UK/European politics(the later looks like zero(guess could be more, depends how europe develops down this path), the former is more concerning considering our own bams.).

But by platform, I mean give him attention. Someone mentioned earlier having his press conferences/ briefings completely empty. Seems like a fine idea to me, purely report on his actions, not the words of this presidency. (While hopefully others get their arse in gear for when this charade is ready to run it's course. I'm doubtful about that though, most likely it'll just be some other faction of corporate arseholes.)

You say that as a joke. I had the misfortune to live in the US through the Reagan years, and I definitely observed an increased acceptability of just telling lies among my colleagues and others. Heaven knows what the Trump effect will be.

As long as you are CEO of the company then you can give it a go. Being a narcissistic dictator only really works if you own or run the company. Watch the employment laws as not as easy to sack someone in the UK though.

Thirty years in corporations, I can tell you lying is common place and quite often the best strategy.

Where i differ form a traditionalist communist * is i dont really care who own what I care that it is fairly and evenly distributed - certainly vastly more so than now

Personally I find it disgusting that we have people worth billions when we have folk unable to get clean water and them and their children dying of preventable causes such as malnutrition. The things can be ended easily but, and how many more centuries would you like to run the experiment?- not under the current model.

Ahhh....it all suddenly makes sense. I tried reading the posts which are left to see what happened but it makes even less sense than usual, probably because a load have gone AWOL!
