No. The stock response is to use Google to search the forum.
Go figure.
Yeah, search from the ‘overview’ page rather than inside a particular forum. Only way it works for some reason, but it does work well.

As I finally worked out as it's not explained anywhere is the search in the menu bar searches the site content excluding the forum.
The one on the forum overview and the 2nd one on mobile does the forum search only with a bunch of google ads - that is what generated the response above which got no hits
