As title, is there anyone on here who knows what they are doing with iphones?
Basically iv'e been offered an iphone 3gs 16gb really cheap by a teacher at work as he got an upgrade to the iphone 4 but its on Orange and i'm on Vodafone.
Do I need to jailbreak it first and if so how and what version do I jailbreak it to?

O2 unlock them for free - you just fill in a request on their website.
I would imagine that Orange might offer similar.
It needs to be jailbroken first then its unlocked. Google it get Cydia easy to do.
Then you also get free apps through Instalous app.
Yeah, 'ring orange' is the answer; they should do it if it's out of contract. Might cost a few pence but it's better than buggering about unnecessarily with it.
