I have been running a little business for a while

I make a product that doesnt really get sold online through an online shop type of thing but people who want one email in with their details /address and I then have to manually fill out all the shipping stuff and write it on the box

Is there a way of automating this ,it was ok when it was a few aweek but now I find it takes me more time to fill out and do the p&p stuff than im actually just getting on with work on my days off.

Royal Mail click & drop or Myhermes

You could use a google form, have your buyer fill out their order there. Export a CSV and upload to click and drop. (remember to comply with GDPR)

Or if you take payment by paypal, use thier functionality and import orders direct to click and drop.

Then just stuff parcels in the letter box or take to PO or hermes drop point.

If you use Hermes please make it clear at the time of purchase so people can choose to shop elsewhere. They are simply awful.

I'll always choose to pay slightly more in shipping for Royal Mail / DPD.

Not really an answer to your question, I suspect, but for my eBay empire I use royal mail click & drop and put the labels in a clear sticky plastic window things like this:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Triplast-Document-Enclosed-Envelope-Wallets/dp/B01F7B2VJ4/ref=sr_1_2?crid=10D1I2NDO8ELU&dchild=1&keywords=address+envelopes+plastic&qid=1602187243&sprefix=address+envelope%2Caps%2C150&sr=8-2

Haha I dont use hermes but cheers all.

I do use the little plastic wallets and put the address in there.

One of the companies I buy from has these neat self adhesive sheets of paper that it seems are filled out when the order is generated or placed they then peel this label off the sheet with the order on and stick it on the box, have no idea what they call it but that would be nice.

I suspect i'm going to have to get one of those online order shops set up on the www any one know a rough cost?

I just bought a sheet of self-adhesive labels from Staples and use a laser printer and the PDF of a pre-paid label on eBay. You can get thermal label printers for not very much which is less wasteful.

Royal Mail click and drop will send you labels to fit a label printer for free. Labels print automagically when you create the label on the system.
