If so, what else do you read as these are my wives favourites and she has read them all several times. I could do with buying something similar for her for Xmas! Not the Stig Larson books either because she has read them as well.

The missus has, another name that I seem to remember is Jo Nesbo. A bit more leftfield and humorous than the Scandies you may also consider the Dr Siri series bu Colin Cotterill and the Montalbano series by Andrea Camilleri
