Saturday - bust clavicle off bike. No skin break.
Monday - called in for a plate, it was done, docs said all went well and heal should be OK, sent home Tuesday with codeine and paracetamol, no antibiotics.

The Mrs is worried and wants me to spend (half a day ....) chasing the hospital to check if I should have been given antibiotics. I wasn't worried.

Is she right or is it no biggie?

Thanks.

Any sign of infection? If not, there's your answer.

They pump you full of antibiotics intravenously after the op. No more after that unless there's a reason. As you were.

You'll have had some just before the op so that should be enough if it was clean surgery

EDIT - so, what ^ he said then
