Who on earth allows their very young babies to be used in filming for such scenes? I mean, that baby couldn't have been more than a week old surely?

Weird.

But - does anyone know where the pub is (and is it a real pub) - it looked a great spot 🙂

There's agencies that deal with that sort of thing. The parents would have been standing just behind the camera. No harm in it. 🙂

I think they use Romanian babies so it doesn't really count.

Why not? What harm will it do?

I was thinking the same thing.

That baby looked like it was more like a couple of hours old, not days old.

I am sure there will be no harm caused, it just seems to be one of the weirdest things to do - a day/week after having a baby have it re-blooded up and plonk it on the belly of another woman.

Just seems very odd to me.

Do they need one if they don't have a speaking part?

But does crying count as a speaking part?

😉

Didn't see it, but are you sure it was a real one or some weird animatronic puppet thing?

M-F, it's all shot in Port Isaac but I don't know the pub, bound to be near tho, plenty down there like that.

That baby was born wearing a nappy! Couldn't make out which brand tho' so the sponsors sisn't do so well on product placement.

Pushy parents if you ask me, hung up on celebrity.

Yeah I know the series is shot in Port Isaac (we were there last April)...

Yes, this is actually the building they use for filming the outside of the surgery (ohh and my wife was pregnant there, not fat 🙂 ).

I was just wondering where the pub was as it looked nice 🙂

Yeah, it's a bit dire. She must have really pissed off the make up artist 🙂

I don't see a problem with using babies for filming or modelling.
It may upset you even more to know that they mostly use twins 😉

I took my nephew modelling from a very early age (6 months). He was spotted by a booker. It didn't harm him at all and he had great fun as the studios are all geared up for babies and small children.

The money he earned is in a savings account for the future.

If we used ours it would u**** it up though - ours, being IVF, are not identical 😉

Very cute indeed and very alike for non-identical twins. 🙂

Thanks - although I think they look completely different - but then I see them all the time and can now distinguish between their cries, laughs, shouts. And poos LOL!

🙂
