Basically I only have a BT line to get broadband, is there any way around this? I don't even have a phone!

only if you live in a cable area or are prepared to use 'mobile'/3g broadband.

you could talk to a neighbour and see if they're prepared to 'share' their connection with you?
You'd need to beef up security on your pc or use a firewall/router and wired connection to their router though.

yes and cable only is about £22 when you can get the line and tv for an extra £3 and the line alone cost £12 ...rubbish they force us all to have a phone that gets used to hang up on cold callers.
I ended up not having a phone plugged in to save myself this joy.
