Watching Ski Sunday this pm and discussing this with the wife, cross country skiers seem to have some form for this but is there any history of performance enhancing doping in the down hill world? Not being a skier I have no idea what juice would help so curious.
No idea but have you seen the thighs on downhill skiers - a bit like a TdF sprinter - got to be potential for some muscle building drugs - I guess they all get dope tests though
Who knows but there is certainly enough money in it. The tests are there if you remember Alain Baxter getting stripped of his medal on grounds which I think were very unfair (Vicks inhaler which the US version differed from the 'legal' UK version)
I remember watching a documentary on Alberto Tomba years ago and could not believe what the guy put himself through and there are even more commercial pressures and rewards now, so I'd be surprised if it wasn't going on.
