Is there a 'proper' way of getting rid of/recycling a carbon frame? Dont really like the idea of chucking it into a hole in the ground down the tip.

Up-cycle it into a wall lamp.

It got warranty replaced by Scott so Im presuming it was more than cracked paint. Where are you Jeff? Dont really want to post it tbh.

Not really a lot you can do other than up-cycling it.

It's going to be 50% or more carbon anyway so not that much plastic, probably not far off what you put into landfill each week if your council won't take black plastic either.

You could burn it down to carbon fibres and soot but it will give off plenty of nasties like burning most plastics so I would avoid.

I'm in Sittingbourne and work in Dartford. Pm a contact number and I'll arrange collecting it for him. He will be stoked , he's 13 and got an idea to make a mad tv swivel mount using a frame. I said id try and get him one and help him do it.
