Margaret and Dennis Thatcher, Jeremy Clarkson, I. K. Brunel, Frederick, Lord Leighton and Bill Clinton.

Any suggestions?

Thermonuclear device? I'm sure Brunel would not mind the sacrifice for such a noble aim 🙂

Don't let Clinton sit beside Maggie - if you do just check her dress afterwards....

Sporty Spice - I know but I've always liked her
Rebecca Romero - Only because I have already 'sort of' had dinner with her and she was very enjoyable company.

I would also invite Kylie - but give her the wrong address

Brian Sewell
Johnny Vegas
Fred Dibnah (not rudeboy)
Julius Caesar
David Mitchell
Ludwig Wittgenstein.

I imagine Sewell would leave early on in a huff, but with a withering appraisal of the other guests.

Liking the P. J. O'Rourke / Stephen Fry / Bill Bryson (some of my favourite authors) angle. Better get some coke in then... (maybe not for Bill though)

What about Dr Hunter S. Thompson? Reckon he'd be good conversation.

Not too sure how many of you would want to come to my dinner party

Julian Cope
Beatrice Dalle
Roahl Dahl
Cat Deely
Lewis Carol
Sir William Crookes
Sir Oliver Lodge
David Cameron

It's tough to think of famous people or celebs who in real life aren't totally vacuous or full of themselves and who would actually make good dinner party guests. I'm not saying they all are, the worry would be that they would be and it's hard to tell who actually would make a blinding good guest if that makes sense.
