Being a tue Luddite I haven't a clue about these sorts of things but....
Been offered a pefectly good working Blackbery for nowt beofre it goes for recycle. What does it do? Can I use my Orange Sim card in it? Unlocking? What are running costs?

They are really for linking to a works exchange server so you can still stay connected to emails/calanders etc when away from the office.
Can work with personal email but will need a data or blackberry plan.

You say your a Luddite so I doubt you would enjoy owning such a device. eBay it and spend the money something else. It's a mobile phone with Internet, email and all that. If you pit your sim in you will prob need to change plans as you will be connected to the Internet.

As a device for emails it is absolutely brilliant. As a phone it's not bad at all. For internet it is rubbish.

only any good for work emails really, I've got an Ipod touch for the rest
