I've bought my second digital camera (Lumix FZ38) and it came with a couple of discs containing editing suite software that all looks much the same as the stuff that came with my last digital camera (Fuji "Finepix") about six years ago...
Apart from the 'edit video' function, none of it appears to be any different to what I could do with bog standard Microsoft Picture Manager.
Thoughts?
I'd pretty much agree, on the basis of my FZ28's software. Haven't got round to trying the 'RAW' stuff yet (though that looks rather more in-depth), but the 'Panorama' section's worth putting on, if only for the 360 degree function, which didn't come with my wee Finepix.
