I watched this at the weekend and was very disappointed.

It was billed as hilarious.

It was pretty gloomy and stumbling and partnering Gleeson with Cheadle just did not work. Did I miss something?

I liked it. Made me laugh when I wasn't expecting much.

I liked it a lot, but you have to go in with a low-budget mindset IMO.

I thought it was funny, not hilarious.

The whole point of the film was that Cheadle and Gleeson's characters didn't work because Gleeson's character is a prat. ๐Ÿ™‚

EDIT: i am also half-Irish so maybe I understood the humour?

I thought it was good, would definitely agree that you need to understand Irish humour well. I had a very hard time explaining the term "me hole" to the missus, especially with the right context. I was in pieces at some points and she was wondering what the hell was going on.

I thought it was great. Hadn't heard of it before watching.

I've been told so many films are HILARIOUS and then wondered where the jokes were and how I could get that hour and a half of my life back.

I enjoyed it. It was very dark and quite funny in places. Lots of swearing too

I thought it was great. Very amusing. The scene where he looks confused as he assumed all drug dealers were black fellas was utter genius! Had me in stitches
