Hi,

Have a workshop that I'm in every day, roughly 6x3m floor area but is 4m high at it's tallest point up in the eves. Heat the area with a propane heater and the roof is insulated with 75mm foil backed foam. Gets warm enough but know a lot of the heat will be congregating up in the eves so would like to push it back down/circulate it and make it more efficient, so believe I'm after some sort of destratification fan.

Those in the know, that sound about right? If so, can only seem to find industrial type units, is the a smaller more cost effective type for a humble workshop?

Ta,
Naff

ceiling mounted fan pushing warm air back down. perhaps the simplest way would be to use an oscillating wall mounted fan as high as you can, point tilt downwards so that you get a circulation of air. it'll knock shed (ho ho) loads of your heating bill.

It has a stat pre-installed. I'd ask him to rig it up to some power before you buy so that you can see it work.
You will want a stat so that it only destrats when there is heat to destrat!
