Thatbtime of year approaches, family, too much drying indoors, old house with poor ventilation and cold spots on wall (coupled with a cold, exposed location) and our desiccant dehumidifier is broken. So - recommendations please (any type) - prefer one with clothes drying function (ie, blows up as well as out to side). Low noise a bonus but not necessary.

I like my ruby dry.

Very effective, and very quiet when on the low setting.

Fans of the website Dry It Out worth giving them a call, always useful and specs keep changing. We have a DD122FW-MK5 Dehumidifier & Laundry Drier, which is great.

Ours is a ruby dry - only lasted 3 winters so not convinced about buying another.

Check out ebac. You can buy direct, got a 2650e here, works a treat making sure extra moisture is kept at bay with washing drying inside etc.
