I'm climbing Schiehallion tomorrow with a group. Can anyone recommend a good pub to retire to after the walk? We'll be driving back down to Edinburgh, so Pitlochry would probably be a good spot. Thanks.

that brewery up the hill in pitlochry is very good....
name eludes me tho...

The Moulin Hotel with attached brewery is your best bet - all the alehouses in Pit. were dire.

Moulin Inn. It's a mile or so outside Pitlochry on the A924 (heading over towards Glenshee) but well worth the detour.

Excellent recommendation lads. Came off a pretty wet Schiehallion and retired to the Moulin. Shame we had to get back to Edinburgh, could have easily settled into a session there. Another time 🙂
