I'm en route to a training course just outside Daventry. Are there any decent pubs there or in Staverton, worth venturing out for?
Isn't Daventry one of the 15 towns that has a little sign saying "The exact centre of England"?
Staverton is ok- one nice boozer on the main road, best place for a nice boozer- quiet village of Badby just 3 or so miles away, great pub in the village that serves good food as well. Little woods as well- if you have a mountain bike. Daventry Town Centre is best described as
emight be worth a trip to leisure lakes but thats about it.
Should have brought your bike - there is some riding round Badby woods close by.
