Got a cheap dashcam which works really well but the rear cam doesnt fit anywhere and keeps moving so I bought a better rear cam thinking the wires would be the same but its not. The new one is a 4 pin plug but the existing one is a 5 pin plug.
Anyone know if its possible to connect them together? Im guessing the 4 pin is possitive, negative, then 2 for video. No idea what the 5th is for.

Signal wire from reversing lights, the 4 pin probably just used that as power.

Ignore that, I was thinking reverse camera not dash camera.

The current one installed (5 pin) has a red wired for reverse lights that i never connected. Maybe the 5th pin is for that?
