Got a new computer (PC, W7) and all the music on the second hard drive on the old one (PC, XP) has been transferred by putting the disc in a NAS.
All works fine BUT some of my older stuff was ripped from CD while the copy protection option was turned on (default setting on upgrading WMP a while back 👿 ). It worked fine on the old computer (which is dead) but won't play on the new one as I don't have the correct rights any more eg DRM ****ing things up
Any suggestions other than re-ripping them all?
loads of freeware software online, BUT beware of malware etc., from "astroturf" sites.
Download from a reputable source like download.com
