Had some the other night stir fried with chilli and shallots and it was lovely.
What other ways can you use it and where to buy it from in the Newcastle area.

Scallops fried up with Samphire. Top nommage.

Stuff a trout with it and then steam cook it up in foil.

So lovely...

buy?? wtf.. although i have seen it on markets in kings lynn area we usually pick our own and boil and eat with vinegar.

some of the luvvie-chefs serve it with slow roast lamb, especially salt-marsh lamb if you can get it

if you really have to buy it, then asda sell it!

i made a tangy samphire quinoa salad last week (that i can give you the recipe for if you want it), which whilst it's very good and tasty on its own as a light veggie meal would also go well with some top quality grilled or steamed fish (i imagine!)
