Best bike I have seen on ebay in a long time! Pretty impressive! Maybe if they knocked a "0" off it might be more suitably valued!

He's underselling it too, that's an LX mech, not Deore.

Adds at least an extra £100 to the price.

Please, for the love of god, will one of you ask the seller a question. Something along the lines of "are you trying to be funny?".

Not sure - Im 6'3" so probably slightly too big for it - yours if you want it 😆

I reckon two minutes is a good response so hes pretty good on his support, just might have to teach him some english grammar (and maybe some maths at that)

description now says LX mech and starting bid is £2600. Apparently they're worth a bit more than £100.

Ok, ok it must be a joke, never mind:

Dear joejammy0909,

Hi Mate - nice bike!

Think you may be underselling it though, thats an LX mech by the back wheel, which is better than Deore as you listed. So you might want to mention that, should get people bidding like wildfire.

-------------

YES IT THE TOP OF THE RANGE...RESERVE IS 2600

Just sent a question:
Looks a good ride, can ride offroad AND onroad? Is the suspension pneumatic?
Can I collect when I win? Don't need no receipt but wouldn't trust a courier not to steal.
Awaiting some answers 😉

BLACK THINSULATE SAS STYLE BALACLAVA BNWT (#290507183634)

Wonder what he uses that for....?

Is there anyone linked into the police on STW tonight I wonder - want to call their colleagues north of the border...? He leaves his mobile number on one of the items he was selling - a car!

Anyone able to guess what frame it really is?

It isn't a Scott or Yeti...

He is also selling a £600 camera that is probably a max of £150 when new Camera
Interestingly only has a car charger but no normal charger. Also all his mobiles for sale dont have chargers... mmmm
He really should learn to store his chargers and unlock his bikes when he sells them - mmm - maybe a new question to ask him!

disben,

I'm a Police Officer but there's nothing to stop you anonymously getting onto the Force that covers the sellers location or the Scottish Crimestoppers - http://www.crimestoppers-uk.org/in-your-area/scotland

As amusing as it is, it’s going to frustrate police efforts to recover the bike or progress it any further if people are going to pratt about with questions to him though!

mtbmatt - I have already told you what the frame is. It's not a guess I'm 100% sure.

Baracuda Subways were also brought in unbranded and sold through various bike shops sometimes branded as the shop's own frames.
They were good lightweight but strong little jump frames (if a little short)

If you want to treat this seriously have some regard to this - http://www.singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/suspicious-sale-anyone-lost-a-cannondale-hardtail-lefty and the comments by the officer, Adam Waller.
