The Green Ginger Wine or the Ginger Beer ?
Yes I recently discovered the alcoholic ginger beer. Nice but very sugary, kind of an alco-pop for while you do the Guardian crossword.

I had some a couple of weekends ago, but I was already drunk at the time, so didn't believe my memory of it. Bought a couple of bottles at the supermarket yesterday and polished them off in short order this evening while bleeding brakes and cooking roast pork.
I wonder if the off license around the corner sells it....

As has been said, it's nice for a couple. Then it's too sweet/gingery/bleugh! We have it for breakfast at festivals, with a JD in it. Crab Daniels is the future.
Disgusting, its got artificial sweetners in it!
Gives me an horrendous sore throat/acid reflux situation.
Tastes nice at first, but I doubt I drink more than 10 or 11...
