Not had any issues with parcel2go and I have sent a few items.

They use standard couriers (DHL, UPS, TNT, Parcelfarce etc) but seem to come out with the cheapest quotes I have found compared to going to the couriers direct.

I've used theses guys a few times and they have been great.... http://senditnow.co.uk/index.epl

It's a flat rate of £10, £11 or £12 (+VAT) depending on how quick you need to send something. And you can send anything up to 30kgs I think.

Senditnow looks good but has a limit of 1.5m I think it was on any dimension (need to send package of approx 230x20x20cm)

Transglobal coming in at the best price.

Thanks for all the suggestions.

Hermes looks good but another that delivers items only up to 120 cm in length...

I've used Parcel2go quite a lot and it's been a good experience. I always go with the DHL 48 hour economy service as 95% of the time the delivery is made the next day.
HDN were not so good.

The length of your package [ 😯 ] is the big issue. Many companies struggle with long boxes - or charge a huge amount.

Just posting again on this thread to thank DD - used Transglobal, and had UPS pick up the package from Edinburgh yesterday, and deliver to me today in Bristol - all for £17 🙂
