Thinking of getting one to replace my ageing fenix 5 plus for running

Any users here able to offer a review and comparison with Garmin connect?

I looked at Coros and ended up with a Garmin Epix. Mine's used for biking and mapping as well as just running though.

Sorry that's probably not terrible helpful.

Don't have , know people who do. Looks alright to me - apparently you can export all your Garmin data and import it.

Anything that you're very interested in?  What do you mean by mapping?

I think it just does breadcrumb mapping, not real maps. DC Rainmaker has full reviews of every watch so worth an evening watching them.

I have the Pace 3, very happy with it. Mainly bought it as it was pretty much the only watch with MP3 storage, which I want for music when running, without having to carry my phone. But the data and training tools are pretty nice. You can uploads routes to the watch via the app, but it doesn't have mapping, just breadcrumb trail.

Battery life is great, although the stock charging cable isn't great. I bought a couple of adaptors from AliExpress that work with usb-c cables.

A bonus that I hadn't planned on when I got the watch, is that pairs seamlessly with the Coros Dura, so is very useful for riding. No experience of using it with a Garmin GPS!
