Evening all.

Due to being in the middle of a house purchase a proper summer holiday isn't looking likely, so we're looking at going camping in Cornwall over the August bank holiday. Googling suggests theres about eleventy billion campsites in Cornwall so I was wondering if anybody had experience of a good one? I realise it's going to be super busy around that time.

We're looking for somewhere thats clean, picturesque, fairly close to the coast, ideally close to watersports, horse riding and that kind of active stuff.

Cheers.

Ooooh no, you don't want to go to Cornball, you'll ruin it for the locals........apparently 😉

Beacon Farm is really nice but probably fully booked up

Stayed at Southwinds, Polzeath last weekend, booked last minute, not too busy & one of the cleanest campsites I've stayed on.

ukcampsite.co.uk is your friend.
Leaving it this late you'll be very lucky to bag a good site.
We stayed at a nice one near Looe, can't remember the name but was found on ukcs. ^^^
