I'm trying to come up with a list of cool bike related words as thinking of setting up a bike related business. Primarily to do with photography.
One photo shoot with midlands veteran xc champ Nick Popham generated a lot of interest, so I'm doing a few more shoots and getting a portfolio together but how do you come up with a business name.
I can't use my own name as I'm keeping that for my weird fine arty stuff.
Any suggestions from other entrepreneurererereerrrrrssss (don't really know what it means but they use it a lot on the apprentice)
HyperGlobalCompuMegaNet.

I quite like Rigid at the moment for some reason, doing a big brain storm and I've added your suggestions thanks 🙂
Don't be 'cool', be informative. Tell the folk what you are doing.
Rad
Powah

Steed
Framed? Covers bikes and photography
Mince...

I had rigid images, rigid photography, written down
haha framed is quite cool and clever surely i should have thought of that
'Rigid' might lead to some interesting/niche clients/subject matter...
Rigid could also be branched out into other areas, rigid clothing. As I do a few t-shirt designs every now and then too
Rigid photography sounds rude.

Call your business what it does.
A business in our town was called "jesters" guess what they did... Fancy dress? A joke shop? No, it's obviously a pc repair shop.
I would go with Gaz the photo dude, or words to that effect.
Spoke: pictures worth 1000 words.
charlie the bikemonger - MemberCall your business what it does.

You lot have so many better ideas then I did, but I may just end up using my name and changing the dark fine arty illustration side of what I do to some thing else.
Thanks again. Do like spoke spoken though
Radspeak ages poorly, it could be a millstone to have a very current sounding name.
Sometimes numbers or places work very well (661, Santa Cruz, Hope, Dartmoor, Ragley) equally initials do the job and are more ambiguous allowing you to adapt to your growth.
"Flowtography" just popped to mind, you could put your name or initials in front of that for something unusual but simple or use it on its own.
Or radsnaps.
Tend to agree with Herman ^^ here. Having a cool name is one thing, but it's all about the product. Lots of obscure business names end up being 'cool' only due to the strength of the product. I mean 'Adidas'?
Also, if the market for bike pictures goes down the toilet and you end up taking wedding photographs just to earn a living, then you won't be wanting an overly specific name that you'll have to change, re-do the website, business cards etc etc. Using your name is the most adaptable option.
Picture Peddler, already exists but how about
Peddler of Pictures.
Brown Dirt Photography
Flounce Pictures
How about just, Bikepics! boring but snappy and says what you are about.

"Up the Dirty Track Pictures", maybe?
Gaztography.
Rigid clothing btw doesn't sound very good at all. Unless you're selling armour or something.
