Can someone point me at the bit of legislation/guidelines that says electronic stuff has a 2 year statutory warranty?
I'm sure it exists?
The sounds gone on our TV after 14 months 🙁

It doesn't. However, 14 months is not a reasonable life for the TV, so it should be returnable under Sale of goods.
Where did you buy it from?
