We will be in touch
I could find this out with a bit of research but I'm sure someone can reply in seconds on here.
I want to hook my MacBook uptop the TV so I can play iPlayer etc. what lead do I need (it'll be connecting into HDMI on the TV).
THanks
Can't help on the connections i'm afraid but does Airplay not work for iPlayer? Got an iPad?
has your tv got a vga port? I use that with a converter deely for the monitor port on the mbp though the hdmi route would be a bit neater so interested if its possible
If it is a new-ish MBP, get a converter from the DisplayPort to HDMI and just plug it in...
Pretty much anything with an i5 or i7 will work just fine. Mine is a Core2Duo so works but has no sound.

If it's a non-unibody MBP:
DVI to HDMI Cable
Also, you will need to run the audio out from the headphone socket to phono inputs on either your amp or TV if it has composite in. So a 3.5mm jack to phono cable will be needed.
Thing is, without knowing the model of your MBP, this is all pointless 😉
Hi, thanks for the replies guys - this is the model if it makes much difference:
MacBook Pro 13inch 2.4GHz (Intel Core 2 Duo, 8Gb RAM, 250Gb HDD, NVIDIA GeForce 320M graphics)
Its the mid 2010 one and is the aluminium unibody
Thanks

Ignore my reply then, as Rachel has the appropriate advice.
Hi thanks all, I've gt one of these
Works a treat, both video and audio through the one lead 🙂
