Just pulled out my old laptop which was being used by an ex member of staff.
I dont know the password to log onto windows, what do I do?

which windows are you on? if its xp then this might be of help

"Which version" is crux here.
Windows 9x you can access by pressing [Escape] on the login screen. XP Home will give you access by booting in Safe mode. XP Pro is a bit more work.

Fok it, boot up press F11 continually, wipe machine, problem solved 🙂
