I need some! SB-46 High Grade Compressor oil according to the now nearly empty bottle in my possession. The same stuff from the manufacturer costs about £13/L. Obviously I'd like to pay less if possible!

There's a shop on eBay selling what they claim is an equivalent oil for £8/L which they call ISO 68 - so will any oil marked as ISO 68 be OK? The same shop has loads of different listings at different prices for ISO 68 oil, all described a bit differently & some with slightly different properties (where listed).

On a ebay look for "Bambi Compatible Compressor Oil Synthetic ISO 46 500ml"

by a company called westway - it might be similar ?

What compressor is it for ? £13/L is not that much - its roughly what Bambi charge .

yes, that's the exact one I found! It's a Bambi BB50D.

No, £13/L is not too bad, but if I can buy a 5 or 25L container or something for less and just stick it on the shelf I'd do that, as I have a couple of them so will get through it eventually.

Snap - I have a BB50D as well - I have used only the Bambi oil - I think the oil would be available in bulk from a specialist compressed air supplier.
As the Bambi use fridge type compressors a refrigerant specialist might well supply the correct oil/advice - not cheap compressors so woth maintaining.
Mine had one seized unit that I managed to free up and repair.
I also have one of the big 3 compressor 100l tank jobs stashed away awaiting time to fix.
