Exhausted all avenues to get a new mortgage...Been advised that a comercial mortgage is the only avenue left open.
Anybody any experience of them ?
I guess there will be some questions as to why I cant get a standard mortgage it is because...
I am paid in a foreign currency
The house is of non standard construction ( logs )
It is a holiday let

Look on laymyhat forums and ask if there are any specialist lenders for holiday let's. I can see why mainstream lenders avoid this type of lending as the income is unpredictable.
