Any indy coffee shop in Chippers any good?
Ta.
*CountZero to the Forum please*
Can I count on you zero?
FFS - Even I don't find that amusing...
not realy......... the centres dominated by Nero and a Bosworths (Grim) and Coffee Central (quite possibly the worst service in the World).....I gave up after sampling these hopefully there's somewhere good I've missed.....
Allington Farm shop isn't bad (not at the weekend though...way too busy)
Neston park farm shops ok
Tried Munro's last week (no point going again) and Caffemi this morning which was ok - Segafredo, not what I'm after. Google has just turned up Number One Coffee Shop, which I'll give a go.
It's not that I'm a raging coffee snob (maybe), but I limit myself to max 2 a week so want them to be v. nice if at all poss. I'm working away from home and think bringing my grinder along with all the other stuff I've brought down is getting a bit silly
I think your going to be disapointed..... I'd forgotten about them....
Get on the train to temple meads and go to Hart's Bakery 🙂
Try the new riva lounge by the river. Not sure what the coffees like but the decor is superb upstairs.
The No1 Coffee Shop, by the entrance to Borough Parade, just on the side of the Town Hall.
Not a chain, privately owned, been there long before all the chains ever started.
I can be found there pretty much any given Saturday afternoon, been going there ever since they opened.
Cheers for the responses guys.
Will give the No 1 a go in the morning.
@CZ If you see a tall dark handsome stranger with an affectation of bravado in there on Saturday afternoon, wearing a white carnation and carrying a sword-cane embellished with a serpent's head, it's not me.
Cheers, Rob, I'll keep a look-out for a bloke that isn't you. 😆
