As above, my left knee seems to click more times than not recently and since banging it on the floor during an off and doing the NC500 in April it has been too painful to run with and uncomfortable to kneel on. I'm 40yrs old and relatively fit (still cycle to work and ride off road). Should I be worried?
Trevor.

I am not a docfor 😉 I do have two troublesome knees (broken acl in both, significant meniscus damage in one in particular)

Clicking is generally a sign of too much movment (ligament damage?) and over time the clicking (ie bone on bone contact?) can lead to arthritis. Also the fitness aspect can be misleading, you have good cardio. That's different to your joint condition. Not being able to kneel is a classic knee problem (eg hoisemaid's knee) can be due to calcium growth on the back of the knee cap. Either go see the GP (in order to get a physio referal) or see a specialist sports physio directly.
