I have recently bought stuff off the classifieds on here and got good parts at good prices.

I now have some stuff to sell. I am fairly sure I will get a few quid more on e bay for them judging the prices the bits go for on here and e bay - even after e bay and paypal fees.

Should I sell on here and pass the goodwill on? Or go to e bay and gamble on getting a bit more for them?

I feel unwilling to not get the max for them - on the other hand I feel I should pass on the goodwill and sell on here as I got such a good series of deals. We are only talking about maybe £100 worth of stuff and probably £20 more on e bay

Thoughts?

Karma isn't about getting maximum profit... it's only £20 is my view, I'd pass on the goodwill (unless I was absolutely skint, though in that case I'd be desperate for the cash and would take what I could get I guess 😆 )

The problem is you never can tell on e-bay, if you put a start above a couple of quid, a reserve or buy it now price on stuff doesn't sell, (in my recent experience). Why not try here for what you want, it's free after all, then go with e-bay if it doesn't go?

Remember you have to pay listing, selling and probably pay pal fees to e-bay.

why give extra profits to fleabay I say.

personally I get a nice warm feeling inside when I know my spare kit is being taken up by like minded hardnuts... money isn't the object.

but then again I'm loaded and soon to inherit the family estate..

what what!

EDIT:
TJ Well done I was genuinely surprised you were even asking.
What is community then?
I did not have you down as going all capitalist and after the maximum you could get when you have benefitted from the spirit of the forum.
[teachers voice] I am very disappointed in you for even thinking that[/teacher voice]

And no one would ever buy your stuff cheap on the classifieds and try to resell on ebay for a quick buck would they.

Do what you like with it.

OK you got me - its a purple helmet with one careful owner 🙂

Nothing contentious - just some surplus brakes and bars and stuff.

You should sell them on here, and then be forced to give 50% of what you get to someone else - it'll be a learning experience for you.

You have a right to expect a decent price for them. I'd try here first, with your preferred price, then ebay if you don't get any suitable bites.
