Mine, been a PITA trying to get it back on the road but still love it.

All sorts of wrong, but I'd really like a 1970's American 4x4, Ford Bronco, Jeep Wagoneer, Chevrolet Blazer, that sort of thing, the ones big rear windows and no C-pillar.

CFH's Aston please!

Maybe a 288GTO. Or a 3 1/2 litre Bentley

Since the update I have been unable to post pictures... Also coincided with a telephone update so could be that.

there's a couple of issues, the humongous lottery win needed to be able to afford one and finding one for sale.

Klunk, was only allowed two, and spotted that glorious Benz a few days ago. Fresh in the mind.

Otherwise, I'd have included the Barnato Blue Train special. Even more raffish than a Blower!

Bueller? Bueller?

As my DB4Zagato has been mentioned, then second choice is Cameron’s dad’s ride.

Drlex, that should be a '61 250 GT SWB if you're referencing Bueller.

It is so choice...

250 CE. It's always been the pillarless coupe for me. I'll have one someday...

Merc pagoda

When I was in my early 20s I worked for a guy who had a '69 280 SL, in cream. He came in one day just before I finished and asked if I had an hour spare to drop his car off back at his house - his wife would drop me back up for mine. I thought he meant his usual car, which was a Renault 25, so when he gave me the key to the 280, saying simply, "don't scratch it", my head spun. It was a 6 mile drive and I can still remember every last bit of it to this day. Nothing happened, I just drove this beautiful old car, with the top off (the car, not me), along a route I'd driven a hundred times. I tried really hard to look cool, calm and sophisticated, but I'm fairly sure I just had a massive, stupid cheesy grin on my face the whole way.

used to have 1275s mk 1

the bonnet flying up in the middle lane of the m25 on the way to heathrow was quite an experience 🙂 Also wish I known the coke can trick when having to drive back from barrow with a blown rear silencer though he did alright sitting at 90 (most tolerable speed) for whole trip back

A lot of cars almost beyond the 'if money were no object' threshold in this list. I find them alluring in the way that I might a bit of art in a museum but I'm drawn to the obtainable more for some reason.

DB5

VW Beach buggy , in metalflake pink with chrome roll bar and KC Daylighters.  Jag XJS rear wheels.  (My fathers mate had one like this and it was a real fun car, in Portugal, not sure I’d want it in the UK)

Can't believe no-one's listed an E-type Jag...

Or an early Porsche 911.

Not obscure, but both pretty cool.

Funnily enough BWD....I was thinking of both of those!  I remember when those early 911's were around ( I was a Kid) I thought they were were some cheap foreign cars, until I saw it pull away from a junction!

I had a P1800 and a Amazon 222 (Estate). Both pigs to drive & wallet eaters in terms of rust and MOTs.

Love my current Smart Roadster, fun to use, which is more important to me now.

Would love a 203 soft top or similar to do up when I retire
