Anyone got any they recommend? With JnrOath arrived, i can't face spending all day chopping/peeling etc.
Do the veg the night before and keep submerged in water.
Gratin dauphinoise for the tatties. Can be done the day before easily
Cauliflower cheese (teaspoon of whole grain mustard into the cheese sauce for a difference) can be done in advance and will freeze well enough (or keep in the fridge for a day or two).
My stuffing and pigs in blankets were done last week and are currently languishing in the freezer, will get them out on Christmas eve when i do all the veg prep and make the batter for the yorkies (rib of beef here).
I'm far to pissed on Christmas day to prepare anything at all!
Red cabbage, perfect to do the day before and quick micro to warm up.
