We will be in touch
Guys,I haven't seen a thread as i not frequent the forum as much so apologies if done already,
Myself and the family were driving up to Edinburgh on the A68 this afternoon, saw in front a small group of runners,I couldn't believe there was a guy Barefooted, anyhoos we managed to pull in at next layby and waited till we made contact with him and the small team, turns out it's this absolute machine of a man walking from lands end to Edinburgh carrying with 25kg pack Barefooted!! I didn't know what quite to say after him telling me why he was doing it,i was lost for words, and in awe quite honestly, when we passed initially he looked in immense pain, just some dressings around both feet, all I could say was goodluck..and bunged some money in the bucket
Got back in the car (crawled out of my bunker)had the Mrs Google the story, really brave guy and somewhat of an inspiration, again sorry if it's been done but I don't watch the news alot or have social media other than singletrack,as well I'm rubbish creating links but please if you've time look him up,
Chris Brannigan "Barefooted Soldier'
He’s a friend of a friend so I’ve been following his social media since the start. He’s raising money and awareness for his daughter who has a rare genetic condition that currently has no cure. Each day is utterly brutal and the mental angst in each of his posts is plain to see. He’s immense.

Search for Hope for Hasti on Facebook / Twitter.
He came through our town the other day on the way to Ripon, I was working so didn't get to see him or give any support. He was going through a bad patch at that point with all kinds of stuff going on in his head (understandably) & feet.
Harder than nails & Iv'e bunged him some dosh.
Thanks alpha,
No words to be fair. Donated when he appeared on bbc news just after he started and been following ever since on Instagram.
