I had some Crowtree leathers made, and they were a nightmare. Waited six moths for them - they were promissed much sooner. I only got them then cos I was going to Assen and insisted I needed them. I had to cut collar in Harwich, cos it was like having 1kg weights round my neck on a cheese wire. I rode most of the way there with one arm and twisted torso to bear it.
They went back 3 times, each taking more out the back of neck, and by which time front of the neck was half way down my chest. They were still agonising, and I prayed for fuel stops. I finally had enough, took em off next to beach in Benidorm and never wore em again. I eventually got almost full refund - they agreed quick, but didn't send quick, cheque in post lies etc.
