We’re stopping at Chertsey and thinking of going to London tomorrow. Are we best getting at taxi to Weybridge and train from there?  There’s 6 of us.

Depends what time of day and what you'll do when there. If you get return tickets from Weybridge it'll be about £12-15 each, plus the taxi/uber to Weybridge station which isn't actually in Weybridge proper, and then underground costs - if you are doing much, better to get a travelcard.

You *might* consider uber to Surbiton, will cost a bit more, but then you're within the zones and fare is capped at i think about £16 for as much z1-6 travel as you want.

If that's the preferred option make sure to get a groupsave ticket for six, it'll save a wodge

Reduced services in / out of Waterloo at the moment, so make sure you check the revised timetable. You may also be required to change at Clapham on a line the usually goes straight through.

The Chertsey to Waterloo line goes the long way around (Barnes loop), Weybridge will be much faster.
