I know this is alot to ask but what is the best way to go about getting a sleeping mat for cheep (£15 at most). I have an orninary closed cell one but looking for something a bit warmer but light enough to carry on a bike. Will something like this noticably better than closed cell?

Also after some sleeping bag liner recomendations. Again cheap.

It won't be any warmer than closed cell. Put that money towards a better bag / bag liner. I have a silk one and a pertex one - silk works better but neither make up for a crappy bag if that is the problem.

I'd go with one of these personally. Base 120 maybe? At £25 it's more than you wanted to spend, but you'll only have to buy it once.

Can't fault the Alpkit stuff. I was worried that the Dirtbag I bought was going to be heavier than my issue one, but it turned out to be lighter, smaller and far more comfortable.
