Am off to london village at the weekend with the kids to do some tourist style things.
Have found a website which gives 2 for 1 on all london attractions as long as I have a rail ticket which takes me to london. We are driving so am looking for the cheapest rail ticket to get me to london. I wont be using it so it does not matter where it goes to and from.
Note - underground tickets dont work for this offer.
Best I can find is Vauxhall to waterloo at £2.00.
Any know any cheaper.

check the T&C's? You might have to start the journey outwith London.

Hang about at a railway/train station and ask someone for a used ticket?
