MegaSack DRAW - This year's winner is user - rgwb
We will be in touch
Apologies for asking, I know there was a thread a few weeks ago but I've tried searching and can't find it.
My son & his girlfriend have just moved into a rented house. They don't know how long they'll be staying there.
There's a BT line in place, but no existing contract. They can't get cable at that address.
If they want broadband, they will have to pay BT a reconnection fee, then something like £9 a month for line rental then £18 a month for broadband for a minimum of 12 months. As they both have mobile phones (one approaching the end of its contract) is there a cheaper option?
If you've got an O2 mobile -contract or payg try this
Use 3, no 3 contract required. £15 for a dongle, then payg. Only reason I used 3 was that I use Linux on my laptop and they were the only ones who could guarantee that the dongle would work. No problems so far
I'll look at 3.
Anybody got a link to the previous similar thread so I can see what the common concensus was then?
