Hi. Son seems to have downloaded something called cassiopesa which seems to have hijacked the chrome browser. I've uninstalled it and Google suggests various removal tools but what do STW advise?

ive had this annoying virus. It was hiding in app data folder, so went there and deleted all the associated files.

hit control, alt, delete. start task manager. go to processes. find virus. right click on it, press on go to file location. then delete all files. i think thats how i did it.

I *think* it's gone. Just searched the whole pc and nothing showed up so fingers crossed.
You'd think teenagers would be solving these problems rather than creating them 🙄 🙂

Download malwarebytes and let it have a search for anything else
